Veikkaus is a Finnish betting company that was founded 2017 as Fintoto, RAY and former Veikkaus merged. We created the game Äkäpussit (“Cranky bags”) in cooperation with Veikkaus, Nasta Design and Moido. We did the character and logo design, character animation and UI graphics for the game as well as directed it.

Veikkaus had come up with the original idea for the game already in the beginning of the project - the characters would be bags that live in a fairytale world.

The whole team had weekly meetings, face-to-face or online, during the project and had fun time creating ideas for the characters and their background stories. All five main characters have their own personality that defines the way they react to the other characters. The team also did the voices for the characters themselves.

The key to success was the great team that played really well together and good communication, especially between Brink and Moido, the technical provider. The client and the entire team were really happy with the end result. The game has exceeded all expectations and become really popular on Veikkaus’ website.
