Kuutio is an online service for selling forest. For their launch they wanted an eye-catching and entertaining animation to really drive home the benefits and the ease of using their product.

The aim was to have an element of nostalgia as a storytelling and design tool. The main retro reference for us was Nikke Knatterton, a legendary cartoon from a few decades ago. That combined with Kuutio's colour scheme of black and yellow gave us a pretty solid foundation to base our designs on. We also spent a lot of thought power on getting the background music just right with the talented people at Audiodraft.

The end result is a groovy forward-rolling commercial with distinctive and stylish characters mostly animated with 2D puppet tools. And the cherry on top of this cake? We got Jarmo Koski - the original voice of the Nikke Knatterton's Finnish dub - doing the Finnish voice over for our animation!
