Valio is the biggest dairy manufacturer in Finland and it was founded already in 1905. Salaneuvos cheese, one of Valio's trademarks, celebrated its 52nd birthday in 2016 and the brand renewal honors its long history.

We made an animated commercial for Salaneuvos. The commercial was created in cooperation with SEK & Grey. Salaneuvos means Privy Councillor and until now the man behind the title has remained a mystery. The commercial brings more depth to the character and shows new sides of the man who normally prefers to stay in the shadows.

The Salaneuvos brand was born in 1964 and the chosen style is a tribute to the 1960’s and designer Saul Bass. The spot was created mostly in 2D animation, with stylish transformations using subtle 3D elements.

Music plays an important role in building up the right ambiance and it was performed by  Bratislava symphony orchestra and composed by Juri Seppä from Humina.
